ONE STEP AT A TIME…

Hello loves, happy February!

This morning I woke up and saw a post from one of my favorite artists, . It’s been a while since she had new music, so I happily clicked on the link. I was not disappointed.  I have always loved her voice, but can I just say that this new sound, took my breath away. The song is called Baby Steps  and it is heavenly. It is slow. It is raw. She only gives you what you need, her voice, a piano and a drum line that is constant but not overbearing. The sound is ethereal and it is sublime in it is simplicity.

After listening to this no less than 20 times, I knew that this song was for me. Remember the universe is always communicating with us. This year I have embarked on a project that I have been wanting to do for far too long. It is a big undertaking and I always felt overwhelmed by the task and I used that as an excuse to not start. How could I do this? Where did I start?  What if and all the other questions you ask to block yourself. The answer was quite simple: you just start. Once I was able to break it down into smaller, baby steps I was able to clearly see a path to realize this dream of mine.  So, for me, this song was just the encouragement I needed to keep doing what I am doing. A universal, pat on the back if you will, saying you are going in the right direction my love

Patient…

I need you to be patient

I’m taking baby steps…

Baby…

Say you will wait for me

I am taking baby steps

Baby…

I have already proclaimed 2019 as MY YEAR and I am taking the steps, however small, to get exactly where I need to be. It doesn’t matter how big or small the step is, all you have to do is take the first one and then repeat. Before you know it, you will end up exactly where you are meant to be.
